We wish to buy a mayonnaise to suit a very specific food manufacturing process. Can you make us one?

Yes, for our larger clients, we tailor our recipes to exactly suit. We produce over 200 different recipes of Mayonnaise from our manufacturing site in Chester.

Do you supply dip pots of dressing to go in salads?

Not only do we supply the salad market, we also supply the sandwich, seafood sector, meat and poultry, recipe dish, pizza and bakery. We supply dip pots and sachets filled with dressings, marinades, savoury sauces and sweet sauces, mayonnaises, mustards, ketchups.

Our Foodservice menus change frequently. We need our suppliers to offer constant innovation and be very responsive. Can you support us?

Yes, we have a number of foodservice customers who run regular promotions. Our development team will create an exciting extension to your range. Dependent on volume, we would be happy to run a line for as little as a month.

Do you produce fresh chilled sauces with high dairy content?

No, we only produce sauces that are pH controlled. Our preserving techniques include the use of salt, sugar and acid, cooking and hot filling. We do use dairy ingredients in our produce but not if it takes the sauce over a pH of 4.0

I have my own brand, would you be prepared to co-manufacture for me?

Yes, we have worked with a number of famous brands producing sauces under their name.

Can I have a pre-printed film using my logo on my dip pots and sachets?

Yes, for products with longevity and in quantities in excess of 1,5 million units we would be happy to talk to you about a design for your branded dip pot or sachets

When it is sunny my customers order more Mayonnaise and Dressings. Sometimes I need to place last minute orders. Can you react?

Yes, our standard lead-time is 7 days; however; we can hold stocks of popular lines just incase. If you need stock urgently, we will always do our very best to help you.

My Customer is launching a Healthy eating dressing range. Can you make me a salad dressing to meet my fat, salt and sugar requirements?

large proportions of our portfolio are now "healthy eating". We have a nutritional modelling system to assess the fat, salt and sugar in a recipe.

What is Clean-Dec?

Well, that's a good question to which there is no simple answer! There is no legal definition and retailers interpret the guidelines differently.

Taken individually, "declaration" refers to a product's ingredients label and "clean" indicates the absence of additives including modified starches and flavourings. However, some retailers take the absence of additives to include non-declared processing aids, such as the anti-caking agent used in salt. Others may also extend "clean-declaration" to include allergens. Clean-declaration products tend, therefore, to be those that use simple ingredients with minimal additives and are often marketed as being "healthier".

Additives commonly used within Mayonnaise, dressing, chutney, pickle and sauce are gums (guar, xanthan, locust bean), preservatives (potassium sorbate), colours (paprika extract, caramel) modified starches and flavourings. A clean-declaration product typically would not contain any of these. Alembic Products has successfully removing all of these additives to offer very tasty clean declaration alternatives.

I am looking for a supplier of marinades for meat and poultry. I need to buy in bulk quantities. Can you do this?

Yes, we make liquid marinades and sauces for meat and poultry processors. We also sell a number of pastes that are very popular with meat and poultry processors and recipe dish manufacturers.

I can not find a quality supplier of Chutney, pickles and relishes that can supply in 10kg pails. I want them to taste as good as those from a jar. Is this possible?

We supply lots of delicious chutneys and pickles from the unusual such as Raspberry and Jalepeno to the ever popular sandwich pickle. We supply our Chutneys and pickles in 5kg and 10kg pails.
